You must have pppd installed in order to be able to compile kppp. The pppd
distribution comes with the header file ppp_defs.h and it is thrown into
usr/include/net during pppd installtion. Stephan, could you perhaps add a
check to configure.in to check for that header? If the header file is not
there we can assume pppd is not installed and kppp shouldn't be compiled.

             When making the kdenetwork-971228  paket the following error
             message appears:

             pppstatus.cpp: 60: net/ppp_defs.h: No such file or directory
             make[2]: ***[pppstatus.o] Error 1
             make[2] Leaving directory '/usr/src/kde/kdenetwork/kppp'
             make[1]: ***[all-recursive] Error 1
             make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/kde/kdenetwork'
             make: ***[all-recursive-am] Error 2

             Any ideas?
