As soon as I logged in, a windows popped up saying some kind of "File Watcher" needs my root password. I typed that in. Then, my hard disk was getting hit like no tomorrow. It's been over 20 minutes now and the disk is still getting hammered. System Activity says it's the "baloon_file_extractor." I suspected some file indexing maybe, but that can't be. I have all indexing disabled in System Settings: http://s24.postimg.org/btf89a96d/indexing.png What is happening? ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
