That doesn't make sense.
You can always file feature requests for any player. Whether it is or is not 
part of the KDE application suite doesn't change anything.

In either case the developer(s) currently working on the respective 
application will decide whether they think it fits within the scope of the 
application, whether their resources allow them to add it, etc.
