Just a heads up for those that try to build kconfigeditor from the tarballs on 
extragears site. To get it to build do the following:

unpack it, then run "make distclean" in the unpacked folder. Then run "make -f 
admin/Makefile.common". After it completes, run the normal 
configure --disable-warnings, make, sudo make install, or do what I do and 
create an applications folder in my home folder, and then run configure with 
the --prefix=FOLDERNAME flag to make it install into your new home 
applications folder. IMPORTANT! If you decide to do this, you'll need to 
change your system's config to look for kde apps and your path variables 
(KDEDIRS, and PATH).
