Hehe, thats not interfering at all! Many thanks :-)

I marked sys-tray activity to be "Only show KMail in system tray if there are 
unread messages"

Now KMail is always in the sys-tray and the pop-up shows "There are 0 unread 
messags" ^^

I'm O.K. with that thou, thanks for the tip.
