Qt-3.3.0 broke the width and KDE 3.2.1 contains a poorly conceived attempt to 
work around that. The result is that KDE 3.2.1 works ok with Qt-3.3.0 but not 
with Qt-3.3.1 in which Trolltech corrected the original problem.

KDE 3.2.2, which is expected around 15/4, should work fine with Qt-3.3.1 
again. (Or the KDE_3_2_BRANCH since March 30th for that matter)

All this according to the commit log of kdebase/kicker/ui/k_mnu.cpp
