Ah, how confusing. I have found the 'prelink' application, which I had
never seen before. It looks promising. But I have a problem compiling
it. You recognise this? :

arch-i386.c: In function `i386_prelink_rel':
arch-i386.c:163: `R_386_TLS_TPOFF' undeclared (first use in this function)
