And I noticed something different, too:
This should have copied .kde3 to .kde3.1 directly after the upgrade
so a user shouldn't lose his config.=20

Hmm, I still don't like the idea of having different .kde* dirs=20
around.  Anyway, that's not a problem for me as I have only=20
one version of KDE at a time "in production".

It seems Dan has even more problems. =20
No idea what his libpng problem might be about...
