The: "configure" script ended with:

checking for xmkmf... /usr/X11R6/bin/xmkmf
checking various X settings... configure: error:  (imake) failed

But the problem appears to be (much earlier in the output):

checking for X... libraries /usr/X11R6/lib, headers .

That is the path for the headers is "." -- clearly an error.

I upgraded along with the compiler:

	binutils-2.12
	automake-1.5
	autoconf-2.53
	m4-1.4
	libtool-1.4.2

It worked fine with the Red Hat 7.1/7.2 stuff.  And, KDELibs still buit
OK.

And ideas??????
