yup.
kde3-rc3 offers to import your kde22 settings.
which will likely solve 1 and certianly solve 2

It's pretty good,
only konqueror is not as stable as it used to be ..

(although that might be my own fault, as I've installed the crossover
plugin, and updated my nivida drivers and ...)
