Got some brainwaves and better write them down.

Question. Should the diff page include the comment from the commit? One 
thought was to have a switch, so someone viewing a diff from the commit 
listings wouldn't have it, otherwise it would be there. Comments?

The graphical diff needs to cover other formats. What formats are there? xpm, 
jpg, bmp, etc.

The noise files, *.ogg, *.mp3 wav etc. Could put in a link to download and 
listen to them. Not too hard to do.

Are there any other binary formats in cvs that need special handling?

Three options I've already looked for even knowing they ain't there are to 
view a single file, not the whole atomic commit, either diff or whole file. 
And a diff view that shows the whole file(s), not just the changes. And some 
way to download the file or patch.
