Thanks Steve. I'll try to use the versioning that you have recommended.
The versioning that I have use:
tomcat 5.5
jdk 1.5.0
axis1.2rc2

I guess are just not compatible. I'll roll back to jdk1.4.x and tomcat5.0.x
(Sun's version from their wsdp pack) and see what happens. Will keep
you posted.
Cheers,
Alix

I thought what Hans was getting at (I don't have his message handy) is
that Axis 1.2rc2 was not compatible with Tomcat 5.5 when deployed on JDK
1.5. So, through dependency, you're statement is correct because jUDDI
uses Axis 1.2rc2 as it's underlying SOAP transport.

I recommend (and I think I posted this a couple of days ago) that jUDDI
be deployed under the most recent version of Tomcat 5.0.x using the most
up to date version of JDK 1.4.x

1.2rc2 with juddi.

Hi Steve,
Following up with my earlier message with regards to having problems
running uddi4j examples with my TOMCAT5.5, AXIS, Juddi set up.
I came across a similar problem reported by Hans Rupp about
the compatibility of Tomcat and Axis 1.2rc2.

D:\java\juddi\udd4j_samples>java FindBusinessExample
*********** Running FindBusinessExample ***********
(500)Internal Server Error
at org.uddi4j.UDDIElement.(Unknown Source)
at org.uddi4j.response.BusinessList.(Unknown Source)
at org.uddi4j.client.UDDIProxy.find_business(Unknown Source)
at FindBusinessExample.run(FindBusinessExample.java:76)
at FindBusinessExample.main(FindBusinessExample.java:46)

I have TOMCAT 5.5 ( I do not use tomcat5.0-jwsdp, but standalone TOMCAT)
jdk1.5.0
axis 1.2rc2
PostgreSQL8.0.0-rc5
I get the (500) Internal Server Error (SOAP, HTTP binding issue.)

Is there a recommended version combination of these modules to use.

Steve, is it fair to say, following Hans' experience that juddi is
incompatible
with axis 1.2rc2 at this point?

Thanks,
Alix
