Harvey,

You'll need to create a Jira account for yourself first. Once you log in
you'll see a "Create a new issue" link. Click on this link and select a
project (jUDDI will probably be pre-selected for you) and select an
"Issue Type" of "New Feature".

You may need to sumit your new feature first and then go back and attach
your code (I didn't see any way to attach code when creating the feature
request).

Steve

	Steve,

I took a look at the page
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=10401 and I
was unable to repost my description to Jira because I was trying to find
a link related to feature request. Do you mind providing more details?

Harvey, develop and test your contribution and post as a
feature request to Jira and attach your work. One of the jUDDI
committers (probably me) will have a look, test it out and commit it to
CVS.

		jUDDI Jira
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=10401

Important: For any contributions to be accepted we'll
need you to complete and FAX a Contributors License Agreement (CLA) back
to the ASF. Use the following URL for more information and don't
hesitate to ask if you have questions:

		Apache CLA: http://www.apache.org/licenses/#clas

If possible please include a description with the
feature request. Your original mail note below is probably fine ... go
ahead and repost it to Jira yourself today and when you're ready to
contribute code simply add it to the feature request at a later date.
Instructions on how to use the contributions should be included some
place (I'd include it in the zip or tar.gz file that contains the code.

		Anything else?

Yes, I agree with you. I am happy to work on
it. Now can you tell me what kind of process should I follow? I have
not done any development for the apache organisation before. Any help
will be appreciated.

Great idea. I noticed that you haven't
listed any of the publisher assertion functions ... I would think we'd
want to include all of the UDDI v2 functions. What do you think? There
are also a few jUDDI-specific functions (save_publisher,
delete_publisher, etc) that some might find useful.

				Steve,

As you know, organisations provide more
Web Services to their customers this year or after and will uses UDDI to
store information of these services. To achieve automatic system
testing of Web Services with integration of juddi, ant tasks are
required to manage a juddi repository. These tasks may be:

				-save_business
				-save_service
				-save_tmodel

				-delete_business

				-delete_service
				-delete_tmodel

				-find_business
				-find_service
				-find_tmodel

Every of save_xxx tasks at least provide
two attributes;
-source: a xml file used to populate
a juddi repository
-destination: a xml file to store a
value returned by the juddi repository

Every of delete_xxx tasks at least
provide one attribute:
-source: a xml file to store
information used to delete a business entity or a service or a tModel

Every of find_xxx tasks at least provide
two attributes;
-source: a xml file used to query a
juddi repository
-destination: a xml file to store a
value returned by the juddi repository

Note: xml schema used above should be
identical to one used by data structures in the uddi specification.

				Any comments!

Harvey, jUDDI has nothing in the way of
Ant support. Interesting idea though. What do you have in mind?

				Steve,

I am wondering if there are juddi ant
tasks or not. If not, I would be happy to work on it.

				Any comments are welcomed!
