I've just wasted a week trying to install software that depends on
yours.  Your 1.7/5.0 split is killing me.
 
No matter how many times I run rpm --rebuilddb and yum clean all and
install jdks & your software, I always get:
 
Error:  Missing Dependency: jdk = 2000:xxx-fcs is needed by package
java-xxx-sun-compat
 
This is for 1.5 and 1.6.
 
What is the fix?
