Got an email this morning about the final release of JDK 6 from IBM:

We are sending you this email to share with you that the IBM SDK for 
Java 6 Early Release Program has ended, but the final version has been 
released and is available for free at:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/index.html
Note that currently the AIX and Linux drivers are available for
download, 
z/OS is planned for December 21, 2007. 

The IBM SDK for Java 6 development teams have worked hard to make this 
product easy to install and use, but if you encounter problems, please 
visit the discussion forums, at no charge.  You 
can access these forums here: 
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/dw_jforums.jspa
Among the postings and replies, you may find your question already 
answered. 

Documentation for IBM SDK for Java 6 may be found at:

IBM has also provided an on-line Java 6 Information Center here: 
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/javasdk/v6r0/index.jsp
