Hi,

I have some background w/ Ingres load testing. The short answer is no,
there's no 'modern' tools for load testing that kind of application. You
have these options...

-Have the developers create a "Load testing framework" using the existing
code.

- Use a functional testing tool to clumbsily do performance testing. (For
example, use Citrix servers and QuickTest Pro to run the application x
times.)

There's a company named MentoraGroup that is quite skilled in those
approaches. (I don't work for them.)

Please respond off-list if you have any more questions for me. This is
probably a distraction for the JMeter crew... (my apolgies)

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if Jmeter can be used for load testing a
client/server app in Openroad and Ingres?
Also, please if anyone has prior experience with this, if there maybe
any other tool I could use for this purpose, please let me know.

Thanks and Regards,
Sayali Kanade
