I disagree with being run on a file instead of a dev node as being
something that "needs" confirmation in the first place.  I said what I
meant and I meant what I said.  Second guessing the user is not the
unix way, and neither is a --yes-i-meant-what-i-said switch useful.
Predicating this check on stdin being a tty seemed a fair compromise.
