Subject:    Urgent Help:How to write a JSP page (render) to deal with "render" and "action + render"

When we are submitting a portlet the JSP pages for the other portlets on
that page are getting called as well. 

1. Is there any way to tell the portal container to use the cached JSP
pages for the other servlets?
2. What are the general guidelines for writing a "render" that can work
for both cases: case 1) Just the render case 2) Action + render

All help is much appreciated
