Sorry,

but how do I put them both on the same pane? I thought I put the
browser-portlet on a pane and if I choose an edit-link of one row the
edit-portlet is displayed inplace of the browser-portlet!?

Do I have to put them both on the same pane and both are visible at the same
time?

If I read the tutorial that seams not to be they did it.

Have you put the porltlet of editing on the same pane than the databrowser
portlets?
Because this system need to have the databrowser portlet and the editing
portlet to be on the same pane

Hallo again,

I just changed the following line in the template from:
                    #set ($link1 =
$jslink.setPaneByName($rowLink.Action).addQueryData("js_rowid",$rowid).addQu
eryData("js_mode",$rName))

to:
                    #set ($link1 =
$jslink.setPaneByName($rowLink.Action).addQueryData("js_rowid",$rowid).addQu
eryData("js_mode",$rowLink.Name))

But the the behaviour is the same. The side seams only to be reloaded.

There is a bug in the template, if you use another language than english
it's doesn't work.
You can see in the links that for the mode it's use the word of your
language but the class use the english word to identify the mode.
In the template for the mode vm use the var $rName witch is given by
localisation mechanism the instead of $rowLink.Name.
So the java class try to compare for my case "Editer" in french with the ref
of the classe witch is "EDIT"
I give you the modified template witch work fine.

Hallo,

I just tried to run the DatabaseBrowserPortlet with the coffees-table. I get
the table displayed! But if I add the row-links to edit the table and try to
use these Links, they don't work. So the links are displayed, but if I use
them only the site seams to reload. I get now error or exception on the
screen nor in the logs. I think the links a wrong. If I try to use the links
I'm allways loggedIn as admin!
I watched other browser-portlets and there allways an entityid is attached
to the links-URL.
Hope thats enough of info?!

Thanks

Achim
