I started a new experiment with a brand new Caldera 3.1.1 install.
The Java is 1.3.0 on this one. I installed Tomcat 4.0.4 and Jetspeed
4.1.b.

It worked fine, so I added a couple RSS portlets and a new user. That
worked fine. I added the portlets to the users's Home page and they
worked perfectly. So I added a web page portlet. Then, and "add
portlet" button just returned to the Home page.

I backed out each of my new portlets, it still behaved the same.

I shut it down, erased the jetspeed webapps directory, put the war
file back, restarted and tried to the add portlet button as user
turbine. It still just returned to the Home page.

I cleared the browser caches restarted *everything*, re-unpacked the
war file yet again - and it still won't show the add portlet page
anymore!

What's left, re-install the O/S? I'm kidding of course, but it is a
little strange.

Oh, -DnonProxyHosts didn't work on this setup either, I've given up on
that again.

Any suggestions? Thanks
