Bottom/top docking: I expected much more difficulties for big projects 
with hundreds of labels
and only a few lines for navigation, so I didn't try. Now, I have 
tried:in fact  navigation is feasible
quite easily.

In fact with "alt key" feature, you do not need to switch from a buffer 
to another one very often,
so, you do not waste time waiting for parsing. Unfortunately on my 
computer (Sparc/Solaris),
nothing happens (single and double clicking) if I hold down the alt key.
