Also Ctrl+L as the alternate shortcut for "Go to line" no longer works, although the \
primary shortcut of Ctrl+G works. So, it seems likely that something has gone wrong \
with shortcuts generally and not simply one command.

** [bugs:#4031] Escape no longer closes docking area**

**Status:** open

The "Close current docking area" command - I have assigned the primary shortcut as \
ESCAPE. This worked until I upgraded to jEdit 5.4.0. Now, pressing Escape while the \
Hypersearch dock is open doesn't do anything, whether my focus is in the editing area \
or the docked panel. I also tried assigning an alternate shortcut to that command \
(C+DIVIDE) just for testing and that shortcut does work properly.
