Summary: Stalled submenu in VISTA

Initial Comment:
Utilities submenu "Favorites" stalls and locks up the editor upon displaying its \
contents (Add Favorites, Edit Favorites, etc).  This occurs whether or not the user \
has any Favorites defined.  The result is that all items below the Favorites submenu \
are unavailable (BeanShell, Troubleshooting, Global Options, Buffer Options, etc...). \


The platform for this minor bug is:

jEdit 4.3pre9, using Java 1.6.0-oem
Windows Vista.

I do not see this in Windows 7 with jEdit 4.4 or jEdit 4.5pre1
