I don't understand. Why would you want to manipulate any NTLMSSP
messages directly?

The JCIFS API does not include individual NTLMSSP messages. That part
of the API could change (and has recently changed) and should not be
interfaced with directly.

JCIFS is a CIFS protocol client. Eventually I will be exposing a
generic API for initiating NTLM authentication (including NTLMv2) but
right now JCIFS should only be used for CIFS and DCERPC.
