Sorry David, I haven't said that Jboss is freezing my PC, but that the
exception I got causes my PC using all its CPU (not all its RAM) and the
control doesn't go back to the client. It's like Oracle, when receives the
request for a connection, is looking for something which it cannot find.

Anyway, I'm using Oracle only to test my application on different databases,
so I'm not an Oracle expert (actually I'm not an expert at all!) so I don't
know what Pad is in the xid factory. I'm using the oracle-xa-ds.xml
opportunely adapted to my configuration. The other Oracle configuration
(oracle-ds.xml) works fine.

Hope you'll help.

Marco
