The open source penguin has visited his/her wrath upon you for daring to
criticize the MySql project. Bow your head in shame, face south and verify
your DHCP configuration.... Perhaps then the great penguin will restore
your access to the pretty screens and the help files. :-)

I've had something similar happen to me this week. I had my mmc configured
for our sql env. I shutdown the mmc, bring it back up and poof, everything
is gone. I do a search for the filename.mmc, not there either...

EM is taking the week off in my classroom this week. I have never had as
many problems as I have this week.

I'd try reinstalling client tools. (When I saw the subject, I thought there
was a typo! <grin>)

:-)

The weird thing is, I have not changed my PC configuration whatsoever. It
worked last night, and when I moved the PC this morning, and booted it up
everything else worked except EM.

Does anyone know if EM takes a day off on Wednesdays?

Probably your network cable is stretched to it's limit, causing EM to fail
due to noise interference in the copperwires. Unplug the cable and plug it
in closer to your new desk location. (2-3 feet or so)

=;-)
