You can just package up James from one machine, move it to the other, and
adjust config.xml as necessary. Change the old machine to use
RemoteDelivery and the new machine as a gateway. That will help deal with
propogation issues.

Subject: Migrating data from one James machine to another James machine.

I would like to migrate all of the James user information from one machine
to another machine on a different network (different country for that
matter). All of the emails are file based. I was thinking of just
setting up the new box and switching the DNS. Then I was going to rsynch
the data from the old machine to the new machine.

Is there another way to get little downtime. What is the recommended
solution?

Thank for any help.
-Steve
