i've now committed support for custom dot betwixt documents and 
multi-mapping documents (apologies for the delay, i've been a little 
unwell recently). thanks to brian for the original contribution. there 
should be some information about how this works in the current guide 
(which should now be deployed on the website). you'll need to build 
from CVS HEAD (or grab a new nightly) to use these new features.
