Phil Steitz commented on MATH-983:
----------------------------------

I like Gilles' idea of splitting off the guide and examples for publication / \
distribution purposes. In theory, we could leave the sources where they are, just \
create a second pom for math-examples that adds the dependency and generates the \
artifacts (plus I guess somehow omit the guide sources from the current site build). \
That may be too complicated or impossible via maven, though. If so, we are left with \
the problem of how to have what amounts to a "site" dependency. Does anyone know if \
there is a clever maven way to have a dependency have only "site build" scope? If \
there is no way to do this, I would be OK adding the dependency with a comment in the \
pom indicating that it is only needed for site generation.
