Hi,
this is a known problem with the jacorb memory management 
(http://www.jacorb.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=142). When buffers reach 
a certain size and need to grow larger, they will be copied quite often, which 
will result in the effect you're seeing. This is being worked on, but there is 
no sheduled release date. If this is a serious problem for you, please consider 
breaking down messages or using iterators.
