Trying to open the .pdf.gz files available from the website with WinZip 8.1 SR-
1 on Windows XP Pro generates the following error:


Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive.

If you downloaded this file, try downloading the file again.



Trying to extract the pdf from the same file on Solaris 9 using gunzip 
generates the following error:

not in gzip format
