When I use version 2.2 of JacOrb from my applet the following two places 
contain errors:

I get Security exceptions from System.getProperties and System.getProperty in 
org/jacorb/config/configuration.java. When these calls are surounded by try 
catch clauses it works fine.

In org/jacorb/orb/orb.java the policyManager field stays uninitialized in the 
set_parameters(Applet, Properties) method. Adding the line 

policyManager = new PolicyManager(this) in this method works fine. 

Hope you can fix these small issues. It will help me a lot.
