I am looking to install Jabber 2.0s4 on Fedora Core 3 using MySQL as
both storage and authentication. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that
the authreg_mysql module didn't load during the install. When I start
jabberd with the following command:

/usr/local/bin/jabberd -D

I receive the following error message:

ERROR: c2s died. Shutting down server.

I checked /var/log/messages and the following message was displayed:

Nov 27 20:22:07 suntzu jabberd/c2s[19313]: no such auth module 'mysql'

I checked to see where the auth module was locate with the following
command:

locate authreg_mysql

The following files are listed below:

/usr/local/src/jabberd-2.0s4/c2s/authreg_mysql.c
/usr/local/src/jabberd-2.0s4/c2s/authreg_mysql.o
/usr/local/src/jabberd-2.0s4/c2s/.deps/authreg_mysql.Po

I checked the output of make install and nowhere does authreg_mysql
appear. I configure jabber with the following command line:

./configure --enable-idn=/usr/lib --enable-mysql=/usr/lib/mysql --
enable-debug --enable-ssl

I checked Google for a possible answer and this was the only thread I
could find.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Patrick
