Hey all, new to the list, currently using ISPMan 1.3 and trying to
figure out how to programatically change SOA records. We're doing a
mass domain migration so some 600 domains need their TTLs set down from
whatever they are now to a day, or hour, or 15 minutes or something.

Running the following command I *thought* would work:

ispman.dnsset -d domain.com. -t SOA root.domain.com. 10m 10m 10m 10m

but it seems to only add another SOA record line into the LDAP server.
If I do a search for (zoneName=domain.com) and attribute sOARecord I see
a list of records including one like this:

dn=relativeDomainName=@,sOARecord=ns1.domain.com root.domain[blah
blah rest of SOA data],ou=sOARecord,dc=domain.com,[blah blah, rest of dc]

Running the ispman.dnsset just adds multiple versions of that record
instead of changing it.

I thought maybe you need to delete the SOA ahead of time, but the
ispman.dnsunset doesn't support SOA record deletion.

Can anyone help me here? I really don't want to change 600 domains SOAs
by hand, and I'd really like to do this through ISPMan, so that ISPMan
can remain in place for management (ie: I could change all the zone
files, but they'd be overwritten next ISPMan change).

Anyone? TIA.

Alan
