I have installed IspMAN on FreeBSD 4.1 4.4 4.7 and it works well
The only problems I had were that I had to install it in /opt/ispman with
LDAP basedn o=ispman and cyrusIMAP (with courier Postfix+LDAP+ISPMan I
wasn't able to make it work)
but I tried this month ago and with an old ispman version, with the 0.9.7 I
had a problem
of authentication logging on the web (an error in perl module that handles
sessions)
I installed pam_ldap to make my users auth with LDAP and ispman
it works well on FreeBSD

Subject: [Ispman-users] Freebsd port question
Hi
I want to install ISPman in my FreeBSD 4.7 box.
Is my first ISPman instalation and I have some questions:
- Ispman works well with Freebsd?
- FreeBSD ports have a nss_ldap version, in the ports web site (
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=nss_ldap&stype=all ) I can read:
" nss_ldap is a NSS module which provides an LDAP backend for C library
functions such as getpwnam(3), getgrnam(3), and gethostbyname(3). It
is compliant with RFC 2307, `An Approach for Using LDAP as a Network
Information Service''.
Currently this is an experimental port, with support only for the
asswd' and roup' databases "
This nss_ldap version works well with ISPman ?
Thanks in advence.
