Full Job Description : During the month of May and June you will be
traveling in numerous midwestern States - Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska,
Kansas, Missouri,Illinois (and possibly others) for the purpose of
photographing tornados. A National Geographic team may be involved in
this adventure. The world's largest camera will be used to document
tornadic events. Due to the complexity of this assignment you will be
expected to learn photography; meteorology; GPS; computer technology,
including the operations of 3D Studio Max R3.1 and R4 and plug-ins;
Character Studio; Adobe Premiere v. 6.0; operation of Canon XL-1 DV
recorder and associated equipment; computer hardware/software;
mathematics; photochemistry. Althoug training will be extensive, you
should have skills that will relate to the success of this endeavor.
This situation may extend beyond the month of June for the right
applicant. The owner of this business is a well known personal injury
investigator who has been developing a computer lab for computer
simulations. The possibilities in this position are endless as the
right person will become part owner in a start up forensic operation
that is certain to do very well due to the owner's reputation in a
select and elite organization. This position is not for "thrill
seekers". The owner is an astute, professional who has as his
objective the desire to photograph a tornado on the largest camera in
the world. This undertaking has been supported by NASA, ARRL, The
University of Oklahoma and other organizations. Corporations have
offered assistance. This is a major, scientific and photographic
event. Mesocyclonic events are rare in nature. The destructive force
of an F4 tornado is unmatched in nature. Ignore this ad if you are not
prepared to undertake a vigorous and unforgiving learning agenda. The
simple fact is that you could be vaporized in an F4 in a heartbeat if
you approach this position with a lazy attitude - you have much to
learn. Another fact that is equally impressive is the fact that no
storm chaser has to date been killed by a tornado. Do not apply for
this position if you use drugs or if you use alcohol to excess. A
background check, including an authorized NCIC check, may be
conducted. References and resume (CV) required.
