The first release of NIST Cerberus, an IPsec Reference Implementation for
Linux is finished and available for distribution. This is an IPsec-only
(i.e. no key management, yet) IPv4 prototype that implements the current ESP
and AH protocols with a number of the currently specified algorithms.
This is also the IPsec engine used in IPsec-WIT (The NIST IPsec Web
Interoperability Tester - to be announced next week).

To obtain the code you need to be a US Citizen, and fill out and submit the
form at http://www.antd.nist.gov/cerberus/ipsec-form.html.

For additonal information on the prototype or on obtaining a copy of the
software go to http://www.antd.nist.gov/cerberus/
