- 'Internet Key Exchange Protocol Version 2 (IKEv2) Configuration for
   Encrypted DNS'
  (draft-ietf-ipsecme-add-ike-14.txt) as Proposed Standard

This document is the product of the IP Security Maintenance and Extensions
Working Group.

The IESG contact persons are Paul Wouters and Roman Danyliw.

Technical Summary

   This document specifies new Internet Key Exchange Protocol Version 2
   (IKEv2) Configuration Payload Attribute Types to assign DNS resolvers
   that support encrypted DNS protocols, such as DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH),
   DNS-over-TLS (DoT), and DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ).

Working Group Summary

There is a broad agreement to adopt and progress this work within IPsecME. 

Document Quality

There are no known implementations.  Directorate review during IETF LC provided \
clarifying language around error handling.
