Hi, I have a subnet of publically routable ip addresses,
and I want to map these addresses onto a private net.
Can I do this with ipnat, and without actually bringing up
new interfaces on the machines on the net?

for instance let's say i have an interface on my
router with ipnat on it, with a gateway of 20.20.20.97
and netmask of 255.255.255.224

i brought up an alias on the interface and numbered it 10.20.20.97,
same netmask

so let's say I want to be able to ping the address 10.20.20.98,
but actually have the traffic go to and come back to 20.20.20.98

is this possible?

  i tried this in my ipnat configuration file:

    bimap dc2 10.186.220.115/32 -> 20.186.220.115/32

  and also alternatively the other way around:

	bimap dc2 20.186.220.115/32 -> 10.186.220.115/32

but none of the above actually does anything.
maybe i misunderstand what nat can actually do.

thanks for any help.

- dan
