Yes, another beta release.  Sigh you all say.

What now ?  Well, Marc's put in some more excellent work on the FTP kernel
proxy feature, so if you've been using that and have been experiencing
problems, please give it another go in the latest beta.

I've done some of the Solaris suggestions from the SUNWspro cc output and
other comments.

That's about it for now.
