Oops, I meant to say that this happens after
I try and run the "make openbsd" portion of
building the ipf binaries. Anyhow, seems like
I did not have the entire tar file, serves
me right for not id'ing it first ;-) Downloaded
last night, all works like a charm, thank you 
all and Darren.

As an FYI, when running BSD/kupgrade I get errors regarding
a missing ip_fil3.4.28/netinet dir missing. Running OpenBSD
3.1-dist.

i upgraded two 2.9 boxens yesterday w. OpenBSD 3.1 and
ipf 3.4.28, using darren's supplied instructions and patches,
worked like a charm btw :)
