How about a couple of cron jobs, one to add a "127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com" to 
/etc/hosts, (echo "127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com" >> /etc/hosts) the other to 
remove that line (grep -v facebook /etc/hosts > toto && cp toto /etc/hosts) ?
