For some reason my IPCop (1.4.20) box is assigning the green interface 
mac address to an alias on the red interface. If I clear the arp of the 
ajoining switch everything works for a short time, but soon the address 
becomes non responsive and the switch shows the alias has the mac 
address of the green interface??????
