Correct. Forward port 80 for WWW and 21 for FTP.

In most cases, forwarding other ports for FTP shouldn't really be necessary.
If you have to use PASV mode, you'd have to forward another range of ports,
but by default just 21 should be enough.

Subject: [IPCop-user] IPCop and Win 2003 Server

Hi everyone,

I have a Win 2k3 server running behind an IPCop box. I presume if I just
forward traffic to IPCop's port 80 to the Win 2k3 server it will act as my
web server?

Can I also do this for the Win 2k3 FTP server? The problem is I don't know
what port(s) to forward. I'm guessing 21....but I read somewhere it could
be 20?!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dany.
