Yes, it syncs in real-time. Amazingly fast I might add. However, I have
not had good luck with the disconnected operation part. I think it will get
there eventually, but It doesn't seem to be there yet. Maybe I need to
check out the latest code from cvs.

Subject: Does intermezzo sync in real-time ?

I am looking for a Network'ed file system (let's refer it as NFS, even
if it's not Sun's NFS) that can do the following:

1) Support disconnected operation
2) Do real-time syncronization (ie: I 'cat > file' on host A, 'tail -f
file' on host B and they are updated as soon bandwidth allows)
3) Support large files (very large files, hopefully the limitation is
on the underlying FS and not by the NFS)
4) Support large shares (again, prefer limits on the server side then
   on the NFS software itself)

5) extra credits: it works both under Linux and Solaris. Linux is a
   must thought.

Does intermezzo do this or do you know any other software that does
do this?

Best regards
