This is a reproducable failure:

Version: current CVS
Kernel:  linux-2.4.19-rc3
Setup:   1 server, two clients

Step 1 on client 1: echo foo > foo
Step 2 on client 2: rm foo

Result: intersync on client 1 dies with 

    (request.c:is_get_kml_range L269) ABORT: reintegrate failed, aborting: File exists

Step 3 on client 1 restart intersync

Result: file foo is really removed on all nodes (OK)

Step 4 on client 1: echo foo > foo

Result: intersync on client 2 dies with

    (request.c:is_get_kml_range L269) ABORT: reintegrate failed, aborting: No such file or directory

Step 5 on client 2 restart intersync

Result: file foo exists on all nodes (OK)
