CORRECTION the offset and size are bytes ...
"udp[0:2] >= 6000 and udp[0:2] <= 6999"
"udp[2:2] >= 6000 and udp[2:2] <= 6999"
"tcp[0:2] >= 6000 and tcp[0:2] <= 6999"
"tcp[2:2] >= 6000 and tcp[2:2] <= 6999"
... blame typing while watching Comm Games for snafu
