Starting out by myself, I've only added general purpose customer service
reps, primarily focusing on tech support and pc repair, though one of my
guys does most of the grunt work in the daily billing process.

I've not yet reached a point where I need a full time network, systems,
accounting, or other specialized employee. Systems/network takes up 10-20
hours of my week, business admin (marketing, accounting, etc) takes up
another 10-20 hours, and the rest is spent supporting my staff.

At 3000 retail and 1000 wholesale users, I've not yet been able to justify
the hiring of any specialists. I really wish I could though. Perhaps when
I get a DSL offering rolled out, I'll be able to do so, but I doubt I'll
exceed my own time constraints unless we somehow manage to do 20+ signups a
day (which would be awesome).
