Subject:    [imp] spaces cause newlines to get stripped

We are running IMP 4.1-cvs, on Horde 3.0.3.  When composing a message, 
if a user puts a space at the end of a line followed by a carriage 
return, the carriage return will be stripped...  If the space is 
followed by multiple carriage returns, all of them will be stripped.

Any known cause for this behavior?
