The compile errors below indicate that you built the software
incorrectly.  It appears that you copied linkage.[ch] from a UNIX system
instead of using the Windows makefiles to make the Windows version.

The proper way to build on a PC is "nmake -f makefile.nt" at the top level
imap-4.6.BETA directory.
